Thank you for this video. I was wondering why I was not losing weight and I realize from your video that I’m probably using too much of the sesame ginger dressing which contains sesame tahini on my salads. I have been using about 6 tbs. per day! Could that be the cause.? I guess that I will just stick to vinegar and see what happens. Thank you
Hi Joanna! I’m so glad that the video was helpful for you!! Yes, too many nuts or seeds in the day can have an effect for sure. This may be it. The difference between losing weight and maintaining weight is such a slim margin depending, so it would be great for you to try to eliminate higher calorie foods a little at a time to make sure. Just make sure to keep getting in all the g-bombs every day, but keep the limited foods truly limited! :D Have a great night.
I am 58 years old and have been vegan/nutritatian for over 2 years. I added beans, rice, potatoes over past few months and have steadily gained 10 lbs of weight over a couple of months now. Prior to this my weight was stable for years in the 125 range and now I’m 135.
I would love to know what is wrong. I can’t fit into my clothes and do not cheat and my thyroid is fine, I exercise most days. I am very frustrated. I have watched yours and other nutritarian/starch solution videos and may eat less than what you all are recommending. Could it be beans and potatoes? It’s not like I eat a ton of them, probably a cup of beans and one big japanese sweet potato per day. Help!
Loved this video! I am new at this lifestyle and still struggling with consistency in eating the recommended foods. I will incorporate the ideas and see where it takes me.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I have just begun my Nutritarian lifestyle. I’m on day 18 and have not been losing as much weight as I think I should. I have been having too many nuts some days or too many beans. I didn’t include any grains for the first 2 weeks and lost 8 pounds. Since adding 1- 1 1/2 cups of whole grains a day- I gained half a pound. I will cut out the grains for now and cut back on beans and nuts.
I also believe I’ve been exercising a little too much for this stage in my journey. I’m going back to the store today to stock up on my veggies!
I absolutely appreciate you for these helpful hints. I honestly was getting ready to give up because I’m trying so hard and not losing. I am 64 years old with significant weight to lose( at least 60-70 pounds). Thanks to you, I will be continuing on my 6 week plan and looking forward to some nice results.
