I’m so glad you’re here.

No, for real. I’ve been fantasizing about writing this blog for a long time now. I’ve been a blogger for going on 4 years now, and within that 4 years, my obsession with food has gone from “occasionally talks to her food or squeals uncontrollably while eating” to dreaming day in and day out about what to eat or cook next.

I have this thing about not being able to cook something more than once. I just get this overwhelming feeling like “There’s so many new things to try! I can’t stick with just one!” I subscribe to a million recipe newsletters and have recipe clippings all over the house. I need an outlet to work through my madness.

I can explain my excitement easily considering the circumstances. I can’t even get this blog completely fleshed out with all the elements I wanted it to have before I had to write my first post. If you know me, then you know I try to get to bed by 10, but tonight I just could not sleep. I got out of bed at 12:30 am – I was too excited! Okay, maybe it was the rocket fuel coffee this morning, but whatever, here I am!

This blog will have a wide variety of elements that I’m so ready to share. I have tons of ideas for great content and can’t wait to start in on it; I know you’ll be hooked! Especially if you live in the Sarasota, FL area or ever plan on visiting, you’ll have plenty of restaurant reviews to sift through when you make your way here. On top of that, there will be zillions of recipes, cooking and baking, plus videos to illustrate. Lots of pictures and then other informative tidbits and food news. All things food.
