Anyone who says this:
I have continued my interest in toast as a medium.
is someone that I want to highlight on my blog. Awesome! He’s a New Zealand artist named Maurice Bennett and his medium is toast. I absolutely love this kind of stuff and the best part of it is, so much of his art is actually really pretty looking. I mean, like I would consider actually put this stuff up in my house! Or not.
This one is incredible. 4,234 individual pieces of toast to create an uncanny likeness of Mr. President himself:
I think we all know who this is:
The Mona Lisa participating in one of my favorite past-times at a mall in Shanghai:
This one’s just cute:
Some cool abstract looking ones:
And okay, so this one isn’t made of toast, it’s made of M&M’s, but I had to include this one because M&M’s are like my favorite candy ever. Also, if you need an explanation as to how to eat them, or many other things, please check out the How to Eat Properly section!
Without further ado, Eminem in M&M’s — that’s 5,040 individual candies!!!
And because “the making of” is always fun, here is Maurice making some of his art:
