What do get when you put 8 food bloggers around a table of beautiful food?

Food Bloggers Photographing

Typical Food Blogger Behavior

5 will photograph the food, and 3 will just stand there talking about it. HAHA.

This weekend was off the charts. I just got back home from being out all weekend actually, and I can’t remember the last time I’ve had this much fun (or this much food) in one weekend. Let me try to recap all the foods I had the pleasure of trying in the past 1.5 days. I have eaten at least 3 bites of every single one of the following:

Pesto Crostini
Tomato-Strawberry Soup
Strawberry Gelato
Italian Panini Bites
Chickpea Cucumber Bruschetta
Watermelon Basil Cucumber Salad
Sausage and White Bean Cassoulet
Mussels & Clams
Homemade Potato Chips with Truffle Dip
Hamburger with Onion Aioli
Hummus and Bread
Mini Crab Cakes with Remoulade
Grilled Asparagus with White Cheddar Fondue
White Cupcake
Nutella and Strawberry Jam with Homemade English Muffins
Biscotti
Homemade Sugar Cookies
Guacamole Taco
Chicken Corn Soft Taco
Pork Soft Taco
Rice and Beans
Mushroom, Trumpet, Truffle Soup
Pumpkin Soup
Borscht
Another Crab Cake, different restaurant
Shrimp Cocktail
Bacon Wrapped Scallops
Butternut Squash Ravioli
Raspberry Creme Brulee
Chocolate Lava Cake
Wine

It all started with the TECHmunch Food Blogger conference in Tampa. I had the opportunity to meet a ton of the coolest bloggers around and the best part is that we got to talk about, ingest and generally adore food pretty much ALL weekend.

Then I got invited to Pane Rustica restaurant in Tampa with some of my new food blogger friends, including Todd and Shannon Sturtz of Tasting Tampa. The food at the restaurant was ridiculously good; you’d never know it looking at the place from the street.

And then tonight, I got invited to dine with some fabulous ladies in a Facebook group I’m in, hosted by Kim Cass of Lux Magazine and the soon-to-be-published awesome cookbook The Kitchen Diaries. We shared some great stories and laughs while getting to know each other over some killer fancy food.

Between these two events, I actually got enough nourishment in for the next 6 months to now go into hibernation mode. Thanks-for-reading-see-you-at-Halloween.

Pop Quiz: If you could choose only one of the foods I mentioned above, which would you most like to try??
